Remembering Hiroshima
On 6 August 1945 an atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Fr Pedro Arrupe SJ, who was later to become Superior General of the Jesuits, was there and tended to the victims. Andrew Hamilton SJ shares Pedro Arrupe’s story.
