From the editor

Faith Doing Justice is back with a fresh new look and better navigation!

Our site has grown a lot since we began in November 2006, so it was time to reorganize. We hope that the new menu under the new banner will be easier to use, and that shorter pages and less scrolling will make our material more accessible. Check out the new search engine! Tell us what you think.

Our thanks go to the Loyola Institute and Church Resources, founding partners in this project, for their support. The Faith Doing Justice project continues now into the next stage of its life as an activity of the Australian Jesuits, who have sponsored the work from the outset.

Quote of the month

"Once again I would repeat that military options are no solution and that violence, wherever it comes from and whatever form it takes, must be firmly condemned. I express my hope that, with the decisive commitment of the International community, the ceasefire in the Gaza-strip will be re-established ... and that negotiations for peace will resume, with the rejection of hatred, acts of provocation and the use of arms".
Pope Benedict XVI, Address to the Diplomatic Corps, 8 January 2009
